NEW POLICY AND PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT
An innovative method of school policy and procedure development that gives the school ownership and decreases endless hours of unnecessary review and workload.
ALL POLICIES ARE ESTABLISHED IN THE 6 NAGS
- All policies have procedures set up in numerical order for easy re-arrangement
- All the school’s current policies are re-arranged as procedures with the school’s logo in colour on all documents
- Some policy sections may have a miscellaneous folder with – charts, diagrams or new forms with re-formatted design and school logo
- All Statutory Regulations and Acts are italicised and year of regulation removed in some cases. This will be beneficial for future proofing.
(Note many Acts have been revised several times since their inception from 1989)
- All policies and procedures are consistent for dating and the Chair/Principal to sign
- The Principal to sign all procedures and BOT Chairperson to sign the 6 policies and co-sign some procedures
Chair to sign Principal’s Appraisal procedure.
- All procedures are updated to reflect current needs and provisions in schools and up-to-date MOE / ERO compliances
- A suggested format is provided to help implement the new policies and procedures.
This is an easy 3 step process to ensure that all of the school’s stakeholders gain ownership of the new policies and procedures
- ALL POLICIES TO BE RATIFIED AND SIGNED AT ONE BOT MEETING FOLLOWING THE REVIEWING AND CONSULTATION PROCESS STEPS
